Categorization:Product Information

Specializing in the sales of: Connectors | Wire Harness | Cable Products
DMC Tools is the abbreviation of Daniels Manufacturing Corporation®, with 75 years of experience in manufacturing high-reliability electrical connector assembly tools. It is widely used in key fields such as aerospace, defense, rail transportation, marine, medical, communication, and automotive. Many of its products are listed in the U.S. Department of Defense QPL (Qualified Product List), and its manufacturing processes include CNC milling, wire cutting, and precision grinding, and it also provides customized tool solutions.

DMC's connector assembly tools cover contact insertion and extraction tools, retention and test tools, adapters, backshell, stress relief, or EMI/RFI shielding shell assembly tools, as well as various clamps, wrenches, and pliers, etc. Its Contact Retention Test Tools can be used to detect the retention force of the internal contacts of the connector, thus supporting reliability verification.

Aging test data and quality assurance of domestic connectors
During the development and application of domestic connectors, aging test (Aging Test) data is an important basis for ensuring the long-term performance, reliability, and safety of the products. By combining the tool products of DMC Tools, we can do the following:
● Contact retention aging comparison
Using DMC's Contact Retention Test Tools (such as HT250 series tools), repeatedly test the contact retention after the contact has undergone aging environments such as high temperature, high humidity, and vibration to see if its retention is still within the specification range. For example, models such as HT250-1 (1.5-3 lbs) and HT250-3 (4-8 lbs) can test different contact sizes and observe whether the retention after aging has significantly decayed.
Regularly check the status of the testing tools to ensure the effectiveness of the test.
For DMC's electric tools (such as HDE36C, GMTE1005C, HXE4C, etc.), the manual recommends using special tools for regular calibration and avoiding aging damage interference with testing. When using gaging/test wire and gauges, ensure the accuracy and reliability of tools such as crimping, contact testing, and so on.
● Report Data Organization Before and After Aging
Connect the low-voltage power status, cycle times, pressure values, etc., through the DMC tool, and export the tool status and historical pressure curve graphs via Bluetooth or software (such as Klauke i-press® or Tool Link) to build a complete data report. Make a direct and quantitative explanation of the performance comparison of domestic connectors before and after aging.

Chinese connector manufacturers can efficiently and accurately track connector performance changes and ensure reliability through the use of various testing tools and data export methods provided by DMC Tools during aging tests.
